I don't know what kind of connoisseur of dusty ancient scents one must be to praise this masterpiece. It is very difficult to wash off this stench. It is an incredible smell of old things that have been lying around, forgotten in a spice cabinet covered in dust and insects... And the most interesting thing is the remarkable longevity. That's why one could write a review, but it's unlikely that there is a unique person who would sincerely rejoice in this trail...
The fragrance is very rich, dense, and captivating elixir, proven by time, a masterpiece for ages! I prefer it more in the perfume version, with a very convenient bottle that can always be taken with me.
A big thank you to the company for the great perfumes. I ordered them from Poland and they arrived beautifully packaged. I put them in a dark place to let them settle. I am familiar with the perfumes themselves and they are really cool. I had a perfume spray before, but I think the perfume version will be even more luxurious!
The perfume is unique, suitable for those who appreciate Chanel No. 5 and prefer a deeper scent. To me, it smells like an expensive woman sitting in a luxurious house on the Hollywood hills, wearing an Italian straw hat and sipping coffee on her million-dollar veranda at the age of 75. In my opinion, it captures the essence of a wealthy lady in her later years. The scent is very multi-faceted, reminiscent of an Eastern bazaar with spices, pastries, and dates. I can't quite pinpoint the exact Eastern aroma, but it is definitely intriguing.
Everything arrived, packaging is fine. Although it's hard to believe that I got an original at such a price:-)
A couple of hours later - I can smell the aroma of spicy Christmas cookies, especially in the room where the perfume was sprayed.
I received truly original perfumes. They are very, very beautiful. And the make-up, as always, deserves the highest praise. There is no doubt about their authenticity.
After some time since purchasing, I will write about my perception of this perfume. It has a scent of raw earth, dampness, and coldness. I mix it with a warm perfume, and it is much better perceived that way. However, overall, this perfume is for someone who really, really loves it.
For about five years, I hesitated to buy Shalimar. Various things kept coming to mind, like tires or railroad ties. Then I shrugged it off and bought a TV instead. I thought I could do without the perfume. But now, I've even grown to love it.
Now it's time to talk about PV. This is a serious perfume, strict, even a bit dry. I decided to keep it for the colder months so the perfume can rest, and my summer mood will come to an end, that's when we'll get to know each other.
Shalimar is not suitable for fans of light compositions.

Perfume adoration. For lovers of Chanel No.5, aldehydes, and retro creations. At first, you feel the citrus with spices, very bright, patchouli, and incense. The rest of the notes reveal themselves along the way. These perfumes are not easy to get to know, time is needed. They are very complex. I received it on May 10th. My first encounter with Guerlain was 10 years ago. Since then, this fragrance has been my favorite. Its scent captivates me from the first spray. I constantly want to bring my wrist close and inhale it.
Another variety of Shalimara has settled in my collection. It is very convenient to put such a bottle in my purse so that my beloved perfume accompanies me everywhere. I bought a couple of bottles, and the delivery from the EU was very fast, despite the worrying situation in the world. Thank you, MakeUP, for the unique opportunities.
Now about the scent... There's a lot to say about Guerlain's creations, and Shalimar in particular, but for me, this composition is reminiscent of my childhood. The sweetness of styrax resin and the vanilla, slightly bitter flair cannot leave anyone indifferent. The dryness of vetiver with the predatory civet gives the fragrance an erotic touch, and the depth of patchouli is beautifully manifested in the leather notes, subtly enhanced by the warmth of bergamot in the trail.
You can't confuse "Guerlinade" with any other aromatic mixtures. It is a patented set of aromatic substances by the Guerlain family, a kind of DNA of Guerlain perfumes.
The longevity is amazing, the concise bottle is packaged in a presentable box, and the spray perfectly disperses the aromatic elixir.
The delivery from Europe continues to impress, just like the quality of the product (its authenticity). But that's where the pleasant experience ends...

Compared to TV Shalimar, the scent of this product is more intense, vibrant, and beautiful. It has a long-lasting effect. There is no rubbery feel on my cold skin, instead, there is a light smokiness, spices, bright sweetness, and a floral undertone. The bottle comes with a sprayer and an air-tight cap, which means it is fresh and unopened. The packaging is also of high quality, with a brand-specific box made of wood. The fragrance itself has excellent quality and longevity.
