Lancome Poeme Eau de Parfum

My mom's favorite fragrance since 1995. It's quite old, so it's not often available for sale. The last time we got it was from Europe, and before that, we ordered it here on Makeup before the war and probably before COVID-19. It's a 100ml bottle, and it lasted my mom almost 3 years. You don't need to drench yourself in it, just one spray lasts the whole day, and it even lingers on clothes longer. The scent is noble, expensive, and mature.

I have a sample of this fragrance, but I haven't decided on buying the full bottle yet. I can sense the scent of honey and mimosa. It is very vibrant, warm, and comforting. It definitely reminds me of springtime.

This water is very nice, it has a divine scent! There is sweetness in it, but it is noble and expensive. I want to inhale this smell endlessly. The longevity is good. One spray is enough and it lasts all day, on both the skin and clothes.

Lancome Poeme is the best fragrance! It is very fragrant, floral-honey-intoxicating. I bought it based on reviews, and it is exactly what I needed. From now on, this is my fragrance.

I would like to add to my review about the perfume. I purchased them in September and overall, I liked them, but there was a note that was too sweet for me, so I gave them some more time to rest. With time, the scent slightly changed, becoming less suffocating and a little sharper, which made it more pleasant for me. I enjoy using them. They are definitely not for everyday wear. This fragrance is perfect for a good mood and dry, windy weather. They are very long-lasting and have a good sillage, not the ones that sit close to the skin. I am very satisfied.

This fragrance is a true masterpiece, an ode to femininity. Blok has poems about a beautiful lady, and these perfumes are for a beautiful lady. They are a light floral quintessence of spring. In the bottle, you can clearly feel the scent of mimosa, mandarin, datura, and an imitation of the scent of poppy (which almost doesn't have a smell, and its note is often interpreted by perfumers in their own way as the smell of poppy). Jasmine and rose crown this bouquet, and the note of leather adds spiciness and enhances the sweetness of vanilla, tonka beans, and honeyed amber.

The longevity is very good, lasting more than a day on clothes and 8-12 hours on the skin. In the first couple of hours, the sillage is noticeable, but later it becomes intimate, like a second skin.

It is better to start your acquaintance with a sample or decant, as the fragrance may not be liked, or the chemistry of the skin may be such that where someone feels the beauty of flowers, someone else may only smell a wilted bouquet. It is all individual.

I waited for my bottle for almost a week because it turned out that the bottle I ordered was not in stock and would be delivered later, but these perfumes are worth the wait. The chunky glass on the bottle was a little confusing, but the scent and the quality of the bottle dispelled all my doubts. It is 100% original, just like everything I bought on Makeup.

This poem is my favorite scent from my teenage years. But to be honest, a girl wrote before in the comments that the scent has changed and become less strong. It didn't work for me. I bought it last year and tried wearing it at different times of the year. It was very heavy and not at all my style. I definitely recommend trying it before purchasing, otherwise, it will just end up sitting like it did with me. The durability is superb.

I don't detect any lily of the valley in it, but I can definitely sense mimosa. And, in my opinion, there is a touch of retro to it. I found one drawback - after using this perfume, it's impossible to use most modern fragrances, they're just too generic! I'm 37 years old and I really liked it, it's well-balanced, and it's difficult to distinguish individual notes - it has a honey-floral, lingering scent. Even my 10-year-old daughter liked it :) No synthetics! I can only imagine what kind of perfumes were in the first task 25 years ago! I bought a 30ml bottle, thankfully there are no lilies in it, I can't stand them in perfumes.
I wonder if there's anything else similar and interesting to find?

Today I received the Poem perfume! The scent is divine! It's exactly the same as it was 15 years ago when I first had it. It's 100% original, just like all the other products I've bought here (and there have been quite a few!). I read in the reviews that the fragrance can be heavy, especially upon application, but after 5 minutes it becomes something delightful, incredibly feminine, and delicate. Of course, it's important not to overdo it, but I think that applies to any perfume. I just spray it twice into the air and walk into the fragrant cloud, and that's it! Thank you, Makeup!

The fragrance is not bad, but definitely not original. In order to notice them, you need to spray five times, while the original fragrance leaves a trail and can be smelled on clothes and hair on the second day. However, these ones only last for a couple of hours. But what surprised me the most was the customer service of this store. They answered my questions slowly and when I inquired about the date before shipping, they first sent the perfume and then replied that it was a leftover product. I asked for a replacement with a smaller bottle and normal expiration dates, but the store refused, claiming that the product had already been shipped. I will definitely not order from here again, the attitude towards customers is disgusting, and there is no trace of original perfumes here.
