Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara Lash Mascara

The mascara is not bad. It probably won't work for those with short eyelashes. If you have long lashes and love volume, you should like it. The color is rich black. You need to apply the mascara quickly, as it tends to clump the lashes together. In hot weather, it leaves marks on the skin. The biggest downside is that the mascara flakes off.

Very nice. I keep coming back to it again and again when my finances allow. It is the best from the entire Lancome line. It lengthens, volumizes, and applies neatly. I adore the large brushes. Overall, this mascara is trouble-free. 10 out of 10 points.

I am very dissatisfied with this mascara. I usually don't read reviews, especially about cosmetics, because everyone's experience is different. There is too much product on the brush, it's liquidy, and it smudges and flakes. I haven't been buying budget cosmetics for a while, but if it wasn't for the brand on the packaging, I would think it's some cheap mascara. Yes, the color is very black and intense, but everything else is terrible. I tried applying the mascara with the brush from Idole, which I used twice before. It did improve the look slightly, but I have to wash the brush every time because it gets clogged. I can't remember the last time I made such a bad purchase, I'll have to buy another one. I was happy with Lancome recently, but maybe I need to switch to another brand. And the worst part is that my lashes look untidy and then everything smudges. I won't comment on bad weather like rain and snow, as I haven't experienced that yet.

Bourjois Healthy, which is three times cheaper, is better - it separates and lengthens nicely, and most importantly, it doesn't smudge even with a greasy SPF cream on the face.

The mascara is great, it withstands the hot summer of the South, it doesn't smudge, doesn't crumble, and applies quickly. I disagree with the fans of "Maybelline", the quality of "Lancome" is noticeable. I will continue buying it in the future.

I received a gift certificate and decided to buy this mascara to compare it with the budget ones. Honestly, it's not worth spending money on expensive mascara. It colors the same way as any inexpensive one. It tends to flake and smudge a bit, which is not a big deal, but still noticeable. I found a solution by applying it first, then using Maybelline's Sky High mascara on top and Sky High on the lower lashes. This way, it stays on nicely until the evening. The Sky High mascara acts like a seal, preventing any mascara from flaking. So, I get both good volume and no flaking.

To increase volume, I apply 3-4 coats of mascara, and as a result, my lashes clump together with this mascara. It is not separation that occurs, but clumping. Yes, the lashes are long, but with each coat applied, they become more clumped together. I have used Yves Saint Laurent mascara before, so Lancome is definitely worse for me. I will probably go back to Yves Saint Laurent, despite its high price today.

As for the pros of this mascara: it doesn't flake, it stays on lashes for a long time, it has a vivid black color, it doesn't smudge, and it is easy to remove. It is suitable for those who prefer a natural look. However, this mascara is advertised as volumizing, but it only partially fulfills this function. Personally, I like my lashes to be defined, big, and voluminous. Therefore, this mascara does not meet my requirements for significant separation and volume.
