I purchased my "Madam" perfume in winter. I listened to it, but couldn't understand any of the notes: it was too sweet, very mature. Several times, I considered selling the fragrance. And finally, I heard the juicy real pineapple, the cardamom, and the leathery base. It is a beautiful, elegant perfume. If you have patience, give it a chance - it will surprise you.
I didn't like it, I'm disappointed. It's abstractly sweet, with some unpleasant and overpowering note.... Where are the pineapples, peonies, magnolias? It's just sugary syrup... Unfortunately. I mix it with Mira Max Peach. In combination with other perfumes, it can still be worn.
Today I received it. I really liked the scent. It's not at all retro, but a cool, solid fragrance for ages 25+. It's sweet but not overpowering. I don't like fruity drinks at all.. This is my third Gres. One thing I didn't like is the cap: it's cheap, lightweight, and made of plastic. I haven't tested its longevity yet.
Sweet, non-stifling, and pleasant. Lasts for 3 hours. Satisfied and eager to try more from this brand.

I bought this based on my friend's recommendation, she said it's a lighter version of Miss Dior. This fragrance is truly impressive. It's my love.

It truly sounds much more expensive than it is. I have read a lot that it resembles Coco Mademoiselle, and I can't agree. I have the original Mademoiselle and the only thing they have in common is some classic notes. It may initially seem too sweet upon spraying, but this sweetness settles down within the first 10 minutes. I can distinctly smell pineapple, and the patchouli is soft. Definitely better suited for cooler weather. I'm glad it doesn't come across as retro to my nose.
Love at first sniff, now I have to order it from Europe. It's a pity you don't have it.
The fragrance is very rich and long-lasting. I smell a sweet vanilla and pineapple in syrup on me! I am very pleased!
Today I received the purchased perfume without testing it. It's a whole 100ml bottle, but the price was so tempting - only 11€ instead of 70€, from a trusted online store. I decided to play a little lottery with myself, so to speak. This has happened many times before. What also influenced my decision was the history of this house, its founder, the niche aspect, and the fact that it is currently owned by the respected Lalique, who never disappoints! At first glance, it's a mix of Femme Individuelle by Mont Blanc, Hot Couture Eau de Toilette by Givenchy, something from Chanel, perhaps a hint of patchouli. I'm not disappointed with the purchase so far. In principle, it's a very vibrant and spicy scent, sweet but definitely not like La vie e Belle by Lancome, it doesn't have that burnt sugar and heaviness like the latter. It also has a powdery note, pleasant and luxurious. And yes, the packaging and the bottle itself are perfectly done, definitely worth more than what perfume websites offer! I'm thrilled with the scent I received and decided to further acquaint myself with Gres by ordering two more fragrances from this brand, I'm looking forward to it... By the way, it lasts up to 8 hours.
I was impressed by this perfume upon first spray... It has an incredible scent of freshly cut Victoria pineapple and juicy grapefruit with hints of patchouli in peony petals. However, the fragrance becomes simpler afterwards due to the presence of creamy vanilla and a very sharp artificial magnolia note.
It captivated me only in the initial notes, and I didn't experience any further delight, but this is just my personal impression. The composition lacks ambroxan, which would have added depth to the sound and beautifully accentuated the pineapple and pink peony. As it is, everything is quite basic.
I, too, have tried this product and wanted to share my thoughts.
