Yardley English Lavender Contemporary Edition Eau de Toilette

I have been searching for "those same" lavender perfumes that would be moderately intense and smell like soapy freshness. Unfortunately, these are not them. The scent still reminds me of some grandma's cologne or an air freshener in general. However, Chloe Lavanda is a different story.

The fragrance is herbaceous, which lavender enthusiasts should take into consideration. Lavender is the main note here, but it is subdued by the bitter herbs of eucalyptus, chamomile, and sage, while patchouli and wood give it an earthy undertone. The initial impression after application is that the perfume is slightly soapy, but after some time, the soapiness fades away, leaving a restrained and sophisticated aroma of lavender and dried herbs. It evokes the scents of autumn and tranquility. It lasts for several hours. It doesn't have a strong sillage, but I don't need that because I wear it exclusively for myself.

The scent is amazing! I've heard that Caron has one of the best lavender fragrances in the world. I own it. But my preference definitely lies with Yardley! It's very intimate, sophisticated, and cozy. The smell of cleanliness and warmth. For me, it's the scent of autumn in the south. I have truly become a fan of Yardley English Lavender with all my heart and pure soul! Thanks to the website! As always, it didn't disappoint.

Yardley's lavender water is perfect, especially in the warm month of September. Yes, this natural water does not have a long-lasting trail, but it is meant to be a personal scent. It is fresh, spicy, aromatic, enveloping, and sets a peaceful and self-loving mood. Definitely a must-have for lavender enthusiasts to add to their collection.

To my utmost disappointment, there is no hint of lavender scent in my bottle ((( It smells like a strong cologne instead (( I am very, very upset about this!

I agree with Anna. My impressions are the same, the scent of true lavender, only for its enthusiasts. For me, it is more of a single-note fragrance, I don't perceive any other notes.

This fragrance is for true lavender lovers! I really liked it. It unfolds very interestingly with woody notes. You can feel that the scent is natural, not chemical.

I really liked the scent. Initially (literally 2 minutes) it's a bit soapy, then warm, soft, but not vanilla-musky, rather a light scent that occasionally gives a hint of lavender. I can't identify the other notes, something floral-field-like, but not sweet (the leather is cool). There's absolutely no bitterness or woody notes, and I couldn't detect the base either :( Although I wanted to. As an everyday, work option, it's just what I need. The only downside is that it only lasts about 3.5 hours on my skin (on fabric it lasts longer, definitely until the next day on a scarf). It doesn't leave a trail on me at all. Considering the volume and price, I'm quite satisfied. I deduct one star for its lack of longevity (it may be normal for a toilet water, but carrying such a bottle with me is completely unacceptable).

Make Up, as always, is on point. The order processing and delivery are incredibly fast and always amaze me. However, I was disappointed with the fragrance itself. I usually only buy a new scent after trying it in person. But this time, I decided to take a risk because I liked the description of the notes and combination of ingredients. Unfortunately, the fragrance turned out to be too sharp and unpleasant for me. I won't be able to use it. If there are girls who love this scent and are not bothered by the removed plastic wrap and a few sprays from the dispenser, I would be happy to give it as a gift.
