In 2013, the French company Maison Martin Margiela expanded its fragrance collection with three scents. Jazz Club – a male fragrance and the brand's inaugural scent, was inspired by a jazz club located in Brooklyn.
This fragrance falls into the category of leather scents and is suited for stylish men. It is designed for those who have a penchant for expensive suits, high-quality spirits, and sports cars. This scent accentuates classic elegance and taste in every detail, even the smallest ones.
The composition of Maison Martin Margiela's Jazz Club includes notes of rum, tobacco, and leather. This simple yet harmonious blend of fragrance notes ranks the scent among the finest perfumery creations.
I don't know what kind of glitch I had, but it gave me a scent of coconut with whiskey and wood. It's a very warm and cozy smell. As for me, it's definitely unisex. Surprisingly, I couldn't find any tobacco, but I can detect a dry vanilla note. This perfume is interesting and unusual, definitely worth testing on the skin.
At first, the scent seemed sharp, predominantly of strong tobacco. Perhaps it was because I didn't let it warm up and immediately started testing it from cold. Later on, it began to unfold more multifacetedly, with a sweet vanilla, leather, and alcoholic cocktails alongside the tobacco. In my opinion, it is not only for men, but rather unisex. An interesting scent, not mundane.
A beautiful warming composition. It smells like wooden sawdust soaked in whiskey. I can also sense a hint of pink pepper. This is not something I can wear every day, but it is perfect for chilly and windy weather.
