Using imagination will help to better understand what Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct Eau de Toilette is all about. Like all fougère scents, it is very fresh and natural smelling. Speaking figuratively, it resembles an icy cocktail that you get to quench your thirst on a hot summer’s day. You can’t hardly find a better refreshing drink than that. So, as simple as that, Abercrombie & Fitch First can properly ‘quench your thirst’ for sophistication and self-identity.
The olfactory pyramid of Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct:
Top notes wake up one’s senses with a refreshing, uplifting aroma of an ice-cold gin and tonic cocktail served with a dash of ripe melon.
Heart notes revolve around a bouquet of zesty citrus, delicate violet and spicy pepper.
Base notes bring slightly sweet overflows of amber with a hint of suede and musk for a lingering trail.
When my husband entered the room, I thought it smelled strongly of his antiperspirant. But it turned out to be his new perfume. However, it feels pleasantly close to the body.
I wouldn't call this fragrance fresh. It's more on the sweet side. And it definitely doesn't smell like melon, maybe there's a slight hint of something melon-like. It's suitable as an addition to a collection. Once again, I'm convinced that the best fragrance is Creed Aventus and its clones, Armaf and Afnan.
A very beautiful and affordable fragrance! I highly recommend it. The longevity is excellent for a fresh scent, lasting around 3-4 hours.
I tried the 30 ml fragrance from the brand Bravo, imported from the EU. It has a pleasant and complementary scent, although the longevity is a bit weak, lasting only around two hours. The fragrance actually smells like a combination of gin and watermelon, making it perfect for the summer season. I definitely plan on coming back to this fragrance in the future, but for now, I am experimenting with a different scent.
A great choice for the warm spring and summer seasons, this fragrance is aromatic, long-lasting, and compliments well.
This fragrance is a good value for money. It has a distinctly masculine scent that I believe can be worn during any season, not just in the summer. It is a must-have in any collection.
"My most fleeting and unremarkable fragrance."
The durability leaves much to be desired.
This is a wonderful men's fragrance with sweet notes. It has a very pleasant and subtle scent that is not overpowering.
