The texture is gel-like and has a lemon scent. It is very economical to use. After applying and wrapping it in film for about 10 minutes, my body started to "burn", and I washed it off after 30 minutes. My skin slightly turned red and continued to "burn". There is no need to use a scrub before wrapping! I highly recommend this excellent product.
