In 2016, the renowned perfumer Quentin Bisch crafted an intriguing scent, Ambre Imperial, for the elite French brand Van Cleef & Arpels. It is perfectly suited for both men and women who are confident in their abilities and possess a unique sense of taste. True perfume connoisseurs will be able to appreciate the harmonious combination of ingredients.
The Van Cleef & Arpels Ambre Imperial eau de parfum belongs to the amber and oriental fragrance families. Its composition opens with the freshness of bergamot, seasoned with pink pepper and aromatic spices. At the heart of the fragrance, exquisite amber sets a majestic chord, anchored on the skin with base notes of tonka beans, vanilla, and wood.
The fragrance of the perfumed water is very cool, rich, and aristocratic. The bottle and cap are of good quality, but there is an issue with longevity. In warm weather, it disappears from the skin within 3-4 hours, while in cold weather, it lasts a bit longer. It needs to be reapplied throughout the day. I don't think I received a counterfeit product, as this is a characteristic of Van Cleef. If you want something more long-lasting and with a trail, then this particular one is not for you.
Folding fragrance, it wasn't immediately understood. At first, it smelled like my grandmother's drawer, medicine, and cheap candies. However, over time, it opened up to reveal a creamy-vanilla amber. A luxurious scent. Not for everyone. Sometimes it seems more feminine, other times completely masculine. A hundred percent unisex. Simply spraying it in the store is not enough, you need to understand it, wear it on different days and moods. Decent longevity.
Stunning fragrance. As they say, "lavish". It is definitely not for everyone, so don't hesitate to try a sample first. Initially, I bought it thinking it was a masculine scent because it was labeled as "unisex", but in the end, I fell in love with it.
This fragrance is simply amazing. It is very soft and truly regal amber, with just a hint of vanilla. The longevity is not very strong, but for me, it's perfect. I highly recommend it to all lovers of amber scents. Of course, blind buying may not be advisable, but there are samples and decanting culture available. I love this brand. I will see how long it lasts.
