I spent a long time choosing a Montale fragrance for myself at Brocard, and I settled on this one. When I saw the prices at Makeup, I was initially happy, but then I started to wonder if there might be a catch.
I thought that in any case it would be a fake, but I decided to check it out. There are high-quality and very good fakes out there, so I ordered a sample to start with... :(
And it's just... I'm sorry, but it's terrible. The scent doesn't match the name or description at all. I would simply call it "grandma's perfume" mixed in an underground factory. I have never smelled such a horrible and overpowering fragrance anywhere!
Guys, why would you do this? If it's not the original, then don't claim it is. I'm really disappointed. The scent is awful and sickly sweet, as if they poured vintage and ancient perfume from a bottle and diluted it with water and cheap alcohol! Now I'm starting to doubt the authenticity of the rest of the products too.
Plus, I also ordered various other things for a significant amount of money, and they didn't even include any freebies or pleasant surprises. :(
My mood is ruined, and as a customer, I feel lost. Thank you!
P.S. Just a tip for other buyers: Makeup is definitely not a Montale seller. I made a mistake, and I hope you won't have the same experience as me!
Bitter honey. It later reveals itself with crushed orange and lemon leaves. A complex and intriguing scent. Definitely heavy for the summer. I received it today, applied it, and I'm satisfied with its longevity, as always with Montale. It's better to test it first. It suits me.
Blooming jasmine bushes. That's what I can hear very clearly. I still haven't quite understood this fragrance yet.
