I didn't understand Samsara right away, it took me about half an hour to get used to it, but then it became such a beauty with its sandalwood vanilla scent. The longevity is excellent, I applied it at 8 in the morning and it is still perfectly noticeable until late evening. I fell in love with it.
If you don't understand the beauty of this perfume, please refrain from writing negative comments. Everyone has different tastes, and the weather and mood can also affect our perception. I was flying on a plane when I noticed a pleasant scent coming from my scarf. Then I remembered that I had sprayed it with this fragrance at the airport store.
Thank you for the fast delivery. Regarding the scent, I can mainly detect ylang-ylang, powder, and sandalwood. Ylang-ylang is the most prominent note and it is very distinct. The longevity is around 3 hours for it to remain noticeable. On my skin, I can still smell the last hints for about 6 hours before they fade away.
Horrible! Where are the narcissus flowers? Where is the cinnamon? Absolutely dreadful! It smells like a lice treatment product, Lavinal, with cloves and something else. I bought it without testing it. I do not recommend it. You won't like it.

Long-lasting fragrance! I bought it for my collection and immediately applied it in the cold weather without waiting for it to settle. The room was filled with the scent of yellow flowers, similar to those often found in meadows. The floral notes smoothly transition into a chocolatey undertone. The scent is intense, and just a small squirt is more than enough. It is quite wearable. I realized that I have come across this fragrance multiple times on my acquaintances, especially on elegant and formal occasions, or on a fresh and breezy weather evening.
The fragrance is extraordinary, reminiscent of the old school era, and I highly recommend trying it before purchasing. I was already familiar with it, so I am very satisfied with my purchase.
It is rich, powdery, extremely long-lasting, and has an incredible sweetness. It seems like the scent that a priestess of an ancient mystical cult would wear. Incredibly feminine, seductive, and sensual. A magnificent creation of a perfume genius!

Today I received it and was planning to let it sit for a while, but accidentally sprayed it with the lid. Then I decided to give it a try immediately and instantly smelled narcissus, which lingered for the next few hours (even though I usually don't like the smell of narcissus, I constantly want to sniff it here). Maybe it will develop into something else later. But for now, I have no regrets as I bought it blindly based on reviews.
I do not recommend buying this fragrance if it will be your only scent for everyday use and you have high expectations for it. The fragrance is magical but has its own character. I bought it in February. I sprayed it a couple of times and put it away in a drawer for 2 weeks. After that time, I started getting to know and wear the scent. During winter and spring, it didn't really appeal to me. It smelled like my grandmother and a repulsive cinnamon from a bakery. I wasn't surprised at all because I knew that approaching and giving time to a fragrance is necessary. At the beginning of summer, I gave it another try and applied it in the evening after a shower. Again, that strange chemical smell. BUT!!! After an hour, a miracle happened, all that grandma's stench disappeared and a delicate, musky scent emerged. It smelled like white flowers and ripe apricot kernels. Thank God I finally felt it, I had been waiting for it for so long.
For myself, I noted that Samsara is a cheap granny water in the winter. In the summer, it's a "sex smell," as my husband said. An incredibly tender and expensive fragrance. Long-lasting with a good sillage! Never apply it on clothes, it smells unbearably of cinnamon. Only on clean skin.
The fragrance pleasantly surprised me. Sandalwood is noticeable, but it is presented in a delicately balanced bouquet of components, transforming it into a fairy castle in the clouds. Many people talk about creaminess in the scent, and yes, there is something like that, heavenly cow milk cream))) And this is from a freshly opened bottle! (The eau de cologne smelled for exactly a minute, the alcohol quickly evaporated, and the composition itself revealed.)
Another encounter with a masterpiece from the House of Guerlain. And once again, I am absolutely delighted! I won't even be surprised by any negative reviews. Everyone has their own taste, after all. On the first day, it was a beautiful bitterness of fresh green grass. On the second day, I caught a glimpse of the character of a masculine cologne. And today, without dissecting it into molecules, I'll simply say - it's the scent of expensive powder. And that's it! I absolutely love it! I really love Guerlain perfumes - I have several different ones, but I don't have SAMARA, I've wanted it for a long time and took a risk and got a sample, and I was not disappointed. I received my order, it was packaged properly, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. I didn't like it at all, the main issue being that it is not long-lasting and doesn't leave a lingering scent. The fragrance itself is mediocre and didn't make a strong impression, it only smells strong for about 15-20 minutes and then fades away. In short, I didn't like it. It's not for me.
I recently purchased this perfume in an atomizer. My first impression was simply shocking: it felt like I had applied cologne to my wrist. I was disappointed. However, later on, the scent became more delicate, although it still remained bitter. I will try, as recommended, to come back to it in late autumn or winter. If I still don't like it, I will have to regift it...
Now about the perfume. I really liked it. Unfortunately, I don't know how to break it down into notes, but it is definitely beautiful. It's warm, a bit bitter, sweet, not suitable for hot weather, it can suffocate. But in cooler temperatures, it is very beautiful, rich (just a couple of sprays), long-lasting. I purchased it based on reviews and I wasn't wrong. The scent is luxurious! Very much so!
