I received this perfume as a gift when I was 18 years old (and now I'm 38, by the way :))). My first impression as an 18-year-old was that this was some expired set - it seemed like the scents from grandma's closet and something very outdated. The cream was nice right away, and the perfume, by the way, didn't seem so terrible after some time had passed. But the toilet water... this bottle has been with me for 20 years, and I have only used about 1/3 of it :) However, I guess age takes its toll - my latest attempt to befriend this scent is not as much of a failure. I can wear it, but only on special occasions, mainly in the autumn - it is very dense, warm, mostly white floral... retro.
The fragrance is nice, unique and distinct, with a combination of spicy and floral notes. It is perfect for travel purposes.
Unfortunately, it is a completely different scent... nothing similar to the original from the 90s... it's a pity.
Amazing scent. Although I haven't purchased it for makeup, I once received an original perfume from France as a gift. I am really looking forward to seeing not only the "Amarige" eau de toilette but also the perfumed version available from you.
This fragrance is for a specific audience, in my opinion, it is suitable for mature women. I wouldn't recommend purchasing it without trying it first. I received it as a gift almost 10 years ago and it remains almost untouched.
Givenchy Amarige is a rich fragrance. It is delicious, like very sweet jam made from mimosa pollen. After a while, the sweetness transforms into a slight bitterness and a beautiful base note of "an elf floating among flowers!" It is like spring in a bottle, long-lasting with a lingering trail, and softer than Givenchy Organza. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Makeup!
I ordered it without testing, based on bloggers' feedback. It has a very cozy and feminine scent. It's calm, pleasant, and warm. I'm 49 years old, so my opinion is subjective, but I believe that a classic femininity can never go wrong for anyone!

There is a hint of sweetness, but not too much. For me, it's more about mimosa, orange blossom, and tuberose. It is primarily a fresh, sharp, and slightly bitter floral scent, with a floral sweetness lingering in the background.
It is a bright, floral, and intense fragrance in which it is intriguing to discover new nuances. Its trail is noticeable, even in the open air on windy days.

I did not expect that Amarige, in my perception, would resemble the fragrance Poeme by Lancome. Both fragrances have 11 identical components. Amarige is more modest, but still very strong, long-lasting, warm, and delicate. Both fragrances are beautiful, but I was hoping for new impressions and ended up continuing with familiarity.
Incredible sound quality, amazing durability, and long-lasting trail. It reveals everything note by note - yes, this is the exact Amarij that I remember. I got the 100ml size, and I will definitely get more whenever it's available on Make Up.

I absolutely love this fragrance. I have been living with it for many years now. It has an incredible longevity and trail. With the slightest increase in heart rate, it bursts into a new wave of breathtaking warm floral variations, enveloping everyone and everything. It requires special application. I prefer to apply it on the neck and décolletage, as well as on my hair. The most tried and tested method is to spray it and enter the fragrant cloud - and you will immediately understand what it's all about. The perfume instantly starts to reveal thousands of facets, shimmering and playing on the skin. Those who have experienced this bliss will understand...
I received this gift set (perfume, eau de toilette, scented cream)... To be honest, I didn't appreciate this gift right away. At first, it seemed repulsive, "old" and elderly, suffocating, basically anything but my taste... I even thought that the gift had expired. I didn't touch it for a long time, the only thing I didn't have any complaints about was the cream, it was lighter... Recently, I applied the fragrance to my wrist again, the initial notes still didn't please me, but the aftertaste remained positive... The scent unfolded quite deliciously... Maybe I will even start using it... but very sparingly.
I fell in love with this fragrance back in my early youth, but time passed and I managed to forget about it. Recently, I ordered a sample of Amarige MARIAGE from MakeUp and... it all came back. But in a different way, more mature. :) It still has a very nice scent, with many similarities to the classic Amarige, but unfortunately, the sample ran out quickly. And that's it! Nowhere to get more! They don't have it on this website. I checked with Brocard, they said they don't have it either. I want to have both in my collection, but in smaller sizes.
At home, we have about 40 bottles of different sizes from the brand Givenchy (my wife and I are avid fans). AMARIGE is no exception. Like all Givenchy scents, this fragrance is special. It's impossible to describe its components or break it down into individual elements. The scent is like a whole, very delicate and incredibly pleasant, almost velvety. I adore it.
GIVENCHY AMARIGE is a masterpiece! It will drive you crazy forever! The scent is very rich, sweet, and magical! You only need one spritz of it and you become a queen!
