This is complete nonsense. A waste of money. They can't even hold a small strand. The attachment is very weak.

These hairpins are excellent. I use them to style my curly hair in the salon. I don't like putting my hair in a ponytail, so I pin back individual strands around my face and gather them into something like a bun - they hold really well and are sturdy. I have been using them for over six months and they are still intact. Thick and heavy hair probably won't be able to hold them as they are quite small, but they work perfectly for thin hair that isn't too dense.

I agree with the previous review. It's excellent for curly hair! I use it for my "Malvinka" hairstyle and to add volume when blow drying - I secure the clips at the roots.
