Affordable fragrance, but unisex, without obvious masculine notes. Of course, the claimed longevity is nowhere near. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. It leaves a residue. It will be good for braiding hair, as it doesn't have any stickiness at all.

I did not like the gel. It has its downsides: it dries out my highlighted hair, does not hold the curls made with a curling iron, and takes away the natural shine of my hair. On the positive side, it has a pleasant smell, is not sticky, and adds volume. I will go back to using mousse, as it is almost perfect compared to this gel.
I bought this gel for the curly method. It is a good gel and smells nice. It worked well for me and my curls looked great. However, I used too much for refreshing my hair, so it made my hair look slightly wet. I mixed it with water in my palms and applied it to my curls.

I have curly and coarse hair that tends to frizz. I bought this gel to define my curls and smooth out my hair. After washing, I applied a generous amount of gel to damp hair. It does a great job of holding my curls and leaves my hair looking well-groomed and moisturized. However, after using the black Taft foam, my hair feels somewhat dry, but my hairstyle is better secured. Therefore, the gel alone did not provide enough hold for me. If you have manageable hair that doesn't frizz, this gel would be suitable for you.

I use it with the curly method. It satisfies me more than enough. There is no stickiness or clumping effect, it dries moderately, longer than mousse, of course. It holds well, curls look natural, and with a refresh, it lasts for 3 days (meaning on the 2nd and 3rd day, I do a refresh and after it dries, I feel the cast).
The presence of frizz depends on:
- how you sleep (if you don't wrap your hair in a turban to prevent it from rubbing against the pillow, there will still be frizz even with a gel worth 5k);
- how you dry it. If you break the cast before it fully dries, there will be frizz.
The gel is not always to blame. This product is quite good. I recommend it.

My review - the previous one, I also tested this gel and finally understood it. Ladies, this is the perfect thing for curly hair. Wash your hair twice with a sulfate-free shampoo, then apply a lot of alcohol-free and silicone-free conditioner, scrunch your hair, everything as usual. Then apply a lot of this gel to damp hair, scrunching the curls and drying with a diffuser, everything as usual. A cast is formed - tight curls, which you break up by scrunching the curls and you get bouncy, shiny, and long-lasting curls, not dry or stiff, but cool curls. In short, you just need to get used to it, and it's a great product. If you dry without a diffuser, there is a wave and the curl is noticeable, but not as long-lasting or defined.
This product is useless, it doesn't do anything, it just lays around doing nothing.

I bought a gel for curly hair, for styling purposes. I am not satisfied with the result as my hair gets frizzy. It feels like it has a fixation of 1-2 instead of 5. I do not recommend it and I wouldn't buy it again.
I use the curling gel according to the "Curly Method". It holds the curls excellently, better than foams. The consistency is firm, but easily breaks down and releases the curls. It doesn't weigh down the waves, but slightly dries them out, so it's worth using it with a good moisturizing conditioner. The scent is not noticeable on dry hair. I am satisfied with the quality and will order more.
