Wood, resins, leather... What could be better for a modern young lady? Unfortunately, others are not as fortunate in their perception...
This perfume is a timeless classic and my love from the first try. Fans of fruit cocktails and other Empresses can pass by. And yes, Memoirs are not for 20-year-olds, they are for those who have already had enough of fruit cocktails in their youth and have spent several years of their life with famous luxury brands, and have found their own perfume identity and permanently settled Memoirs, Lyric, and Gold on their vanity table. My version of Memoirs is the 2017 Oud.
I didn't like it. Whoever writes that it's similar to Poison, probably confused it with Chanel No. 5. It's more like a perfume that grandma keeps in her closet with propolis. This fragrance is the worst out of all the ones I have tested.
The fragrance now comes in a new packaging, but it hasn't affected the scent at all because I've known Memoirs for a long time. Mike App, as always, is excellent with fast delivery and gifts.

My husband says that Amouage Memoir Men is the best fragrance there is. He receives a lot of compliments and people often ask him about the perfume he's wearing. So, I decided to try a sample of Amouage Memoir Woman myself. It is expensive but worth it. The scent is complex and has a long-lasting trail. Just one spray is enough for the whole day. Some people say that it's for those over 40, but I am 32 and I find it fresh and sweet without being overwhelming. It is perfect for winter, cold spring, and autumn. I'm not sure about summer though. It's not overpowering and doesn't constantly hit your nose. Now, it has become my favorite fragrance and I want to try other Amouage scents as well.

I am not bothered by the wording "for women over 40." I understand it differently. When I was young, I indulged in sweet, delicious fruit drinks, but then I realized there were more sophisticated scents and became saturated by them. Only then did I truly understand and know what I wanted in fragrances. Let the younger generation enjoy their fruit drinks, it's their time. Women over 40 have different priorities and requirements. Memoir is a luxurious scent, but my favorite is Interlude.
I can't understand the phrase "for women over 40"... "Over 40," is that a diagnosis?))) Since early childhood, I have adored heavy, complex, sweet, and oriental fragrances... I have used them at 7, at 14, at 25, and even now - only such fragrances! And guess what - I'm 40! Dear ladies! Fragrances are ageless! Fragrance is style, soul, uniqueness!... And Memoir belongs to such category. Luxurious, complex, and one-of-a-kind!
One of my favorite scents from Amouage! It is very deep and multifaceted! It is warm and smoky, slightly bitter and spicy. It doesn't scream, but declares itself confidently and brightly! Now all other perfumes are gathering dust on the shelf and sigh in envy at the magical trail of Memoir.
Good day! Niche fragrances definitely reveal themselves differently on different people. With which perfume are you comparing it to? I am familiar with Dior's Pure Poison, I have used it, but I am not a fan. Memoir has nothing in common with Pure Poison. The fragrance of Poison itself is not as dense, and the notes are different. Midnight Poison is completely different in terms of fragrance (I like Midnight, but it has nothing to do with Memoir), and Hypnotic Poison is also different, ladies. And the first Green Poison, well, it's not the same either, at least not on me. And if you compare the notes, they are all wrong. Memoir on me is definitely a complex and dense masterpiece, and it's MODERN. It has more spices, richness, complexity, and the Eastern vibe in it is absolutely stunning, not suffocating. Memoir is a MASTERPIECE)))

I bought Fate today, and I really like it, so I decided to write a review about it! However, I still remain faithful to Memoir. Maybe Fate hasn't won over my heart yet, or maybe I haven't worn it enough. Memoir is just such a feminine scent, so harmonious, erotic, and sensual. There's a hint of smoke or resin, and the smell of leather on warm skin, but it's done so delicately, just enough to not overpower the other notes. Mmmm... I can't imagine how anyone wouldn't like it.

A fragrance of luxury and hot nights of love, instantly reminiscent of Eastern tales about 1001 nights and Scheherazade. Not a single component annoys me in it, I have been using it for over a year, as an evening scent or according to my mood, and every time I indulge in it and immerse myself in it... I don't have suitable words to describe all its beauty. Like in all Amouages, not a drop of alcohol, only oils that harmoniously blend together, yet each one is individually audible and not lost in the overall bouquet. Something about absinthe is mentioned in the description, I didn't sniff it, but it doesn't matter. It's amazing :))))
