The shampoo cleanses thoroughly from the first use, leaving the hair feeling fresh and loose. However, after a few months of use, I found that I needed to wash my hair the next day as it lost its fresh effect. As for color fading, it's hard to tell, as with all shampoos, it does wash out color. I believe that the price is slightly inflated considering the ingredients. Unfortunately, it didn't work well for me.
