I see that it is necessary to leave a review - it will be useful for blondes. I have been a blonde for over 20 years and have tried a lot, including heavy luxury hair products. There is something to compare it with. The dye is excellent!
I do airtouch every 3 months. I do the first toning at the salon and the second at home after 3-4 weeks. I don't do a third one because it slightly lifts the root and then slightly tints it golden. And this ruins the next coloring.
I literally pray for my hair because I have invested so much money and care into them that they are literally like diamonds.
The dye is excellent! But it is important to choose the right shade. If you have lightening at level 10, then don't choose a dye below 10 if you want to stay the same light shade. But it is worth it if you want the color to last longer. It will still wash out quickly like all toning dyes.
But the hair quality will be on point. This is truly the only dye that leaves my hair so amazing and shiny. With many dyes, the hair becomes dull.
Keep in mind that shades 10Р and 10V are mixtones. In their pure form, you will get a gray or violet head. But for my hair length (4), I take 40 ml of dye and 80 ml of developer. Among them, 5-10 ml of 10Р and 10V. The rest - 10VS, 10BP (there is yellow pigment here, but it won't make it yellow if you mix it as I described - it will look beautiful). I can add 10 clear.
On wet hair, after just shampooing (no masks or conditioners) for 10-15 minutes. If you want more color, leave it for 20-25 minutes. For me, 15 minutes is more than enough. Rinse without shampoo. I apply conditioner, leave it for a bit, and rinse. That's it.
Then no rinsing and drying.
I am very happy with my hair. It is easy to do.
The developer is liquid. Therefore, it is more convenient to mix it not in a bowl, but in a vertical bottle, which is available for sale. And apply it from there.
I decided to leave a review because I couldn't find any information about this shade in its pure form. I was a bit shocked because it darkened a lot, I have a light brown hair, and in some places the shade was more like a 10-9-8. The tone immediately brought everything down to an 8-7. The color is walnut, not warm or cool. I see it as neutral. Although, where the background lighting was reddish, it turned out quite warm. The plus side of this dye, unlike Matrix, is its scent and softness. I have weak hair that falls out a lot, especially during toning with Matrix, because it contains a rather aggressive ammonia substitute. With this dye, much less hair fell out, that's a fact. The main thing is that it doesn't leave any rustiness behind.
It blends well. Adds volume to the hair. Doesn't lift its base at all. The only thing is that 10n tends to make it very yellow.
I have used the entire professional line of Goldwell products. They are good and high-quality.
For toning my lightened blonde hair, I use Colorance. I mix 30ml of 9BA, 15ml of 10V, 15ml of 10P, and 5ml of 8CA@BP with a 2% developer. Initially, the color appears more intense, but after one or two washes, it becomes a perfect pearl shade.
This is a high-quality toning hair dye. Shade 6A provides a subtle toning effect and does not leave residue on the scalp. However, series number 4 is more long-lasting but tends to cover the skin and does not look natural.
This blonde toning hair dye is great, I have been using it for many years!
This is a great paint; I only use it.
I have been using this hair dye on my light blonde hair for about 3 years now, and it is perfect. The developer is blue. The process involves washing with shampoo, drying with a towel, mixing the dye, and applying it. For my hair length, which is a 3, I use 30 grams of dye with 60 grams of developer. If you have thicker or longer hair, or if it tends to dry out more, then you will need more dye, like 40 grams with 80 grams of developer. I leave it on for 15 minutes for toning because I have highlights and it's important not to pull up the natural base too much, or else it will turn reddish. If your hair is fully bleached and there is no regrowth of natural base, you can leave it on for 20-25 minutes.
The quality of my hair after toning is always better than before. Specifically with this dye and developer.
Before, I used to mix the dye in a bowl with a scale, but it's not as convenient as using a bottle. I ordered a plastic bottle with a nozzle called Comair, it was very affordable, and now everyone mixes the dye in it. But you need to have the right technique for mixing with your hands. It is much more convenient and faster. It is also easier and faster to distribute the thick dye. By the way, it also seems to use less dye. With this bottle, 30*60 is always enough for me. In a bowl with a brush, I sometimes didn't have enough of this volume and it was more hassle to apply.
For blonde hair, I always add P and V mixes. And for the base, for example, BS, BG, you can also use clear bleach.
Please note that for this paint, you need to use Goldwell System 2% developer. Previously, I used the green Colorance developer, but now they have all been unified under the Goldwell System, with different percentages for different lines of paint.
I do not use the special applicator, I mix it on a scale in the usual plastic bowl. Don't be afraid that the developer is liquid - mix it thoroughly, the reaction will start and the paint will become creamy and easy to apply.
For the first time, I see a paint without any instructions for use! The description only states that it should be applied with an applicator, but it doesn't mention which one to use, where to find it, how long to hold it, how to apply it, or what percentage of oxidizer to use. I will not buy it again, especially considering how expensive it is.
I decided to transition from blonde to a Russian shade. The ends of my hair were over-bleached and very white. I decided to dye my hair at home, using 7na and 8 spbk. I applied it to my roots and about 15 cm down, leaving it on for 30 minutes. The result was crazy - the ends turned violet, but the violet washed out quickly. After 3 weeks, I decided to refresh the color since the toner fades over time. This time, I used more of the 7na and a little bit of the 8 spbk - the effect was amazing! Just what I needed. I'm attaching before and after photos of 1-2 dyeing sessions. I mixed 60 ml of dye with 120 ml of developer.
I really love this paint.
Good tinting hair dye!
I used shade 5BP on my sun-damaged, yellowish brown hair. It is a moderately brown shade with a pearly sheen. The dye is recommended to be mixed with a light blue developer lotion. However, since I had some Wella Color Touch 4% developer left, I decided to use it instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the result - a beautiful shade and my hair looks more vibrant. I will definitely purchase it again!
Photo after coloring below.
Here is a photo.
I have purchased this product twice already, in different shades. I really liked the quality of my hair after coloring it. (I have dyed blonde hair, medium length). I used the T-lab brand's 1% developer. I have been using this brand's hair dye and developers for several years now.
So far, I've liked it based on my initial impressions. However, it was a bit challenging to mix it with the blue oxidizer. The blending process seemed quite unusual, and it seemed like everything only mixed together once it was already on my hair. I chose the shade 4N, and within 15 minutes, I achieved the desired result.
The paint is excellent and long-lasting. I have 60-70% gray hair, and this dye completely covers the gray when used with a blue oxidizer. It fades in two to three weeks. Maybe it lasts longer with a special shampoo. I'm satisfied with its durability because by that time my hair has grown enough and needs to be colored again.
The dye doesn't damage the hair; on the contrary, after switching to it from Inoa Loreal, my hair looks and feels much better. It's not dry or sticking out like after using Inoa. Overall, the paint is just fantastic.
I mix 8n with 10v and 1 cm of p pre-mix, resulting in a beautiful ash blonde. My natural color is 6, and I have a lot of gray hair, as I mentioned before.
I took a long time to choose because I have tried many hair dyes and there was nothing left to choose from. I read many reviews with photos. The color is very, very weak. I bought the shade 10bs. The hair color is a 1 out of 10. I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews, it's not worth the money. You spend money, time, and there are no results. Luckily, it didn't damage my hair.
I have used this product multiple times and I am very satisfied with it. Of course, after washing, some gray hairs start to show, but it lasts for about two months, which is enough for me. Additionally, it doesn't cause hair loss. This product is like a gentle temporary dye.
This toning hair dye is not at all long-lasting. The first time I used it, I didn't use the original developer, but some other oxidizer, and the dye took well. It covered my gray hair and the shade was beautiful, but after a month, it completely washed out.
The second time, I bought this bottle of the original developer and a new tube of dye, and I deeply regretted it. There was no effect on covering my gray hair, not even when sitting in the hair salon chair immediately after coloring. Not to mention that the dye completely washed out after two weeks.
And mind you, I don't have much gray hair, just a few strands here and there, maybe around 10% at most. Plus, I don't wash my hair every day, only every three days.
Overall, I do not recommend this product. I regret spending my money on it, and I would have chosen something else instead.
I tinted my lightened roots with a yellowish sandy shade, and the length with an ashy tone (10v). The result turned out slightly uneven, but the hair quality is fine. The smell is pleasant. I will try other shades and experiment, especially since I still have almost a liter of developer left.
I first had this paint tinted in an elite salon and I liked it. Then, due to quarantine, I had to figure things out on my own. I used the color 4BP with the Davines vol 10 developer (since I had previously dyed with Davines View, but my shade is not available on the website now, so I decided to try Goldwell). I was afraid something would go wrong, but no, everything seems fine. My hair is soft and shiny after coloring. This is a real salvation for those with dry and porous hair, they can only look decent with tinting. However, 4 is a bit too dark for me, next time I will go for a lighter shade by one or two tones. Girls, read carefully before buying, this is not a permanent dye, it's a tint. It refreshes the color and completely washes out after 2-3 weeks. You won't be able to lighten or cover strong gray hair with it. During the coloring process, the paint got on my shirt, and after just one short wash, the stains almost disappeared.
I want to defend this tinting paint. It is not easy to achieve a uniform consistency with the native developer, so I bought a shaker and added 2 beads to it. It makes it easier to mix and convenient to apply. The paint itself is tinting, meaning it adds shade. I recommend users to read reviews on other platforms and, most importantly, familiarize themselves with the color wheel. Colorists and anyone involved with typography or any other type of paint use it. It's very simple. Don't expect 100% full coverage, as this is tinting and it doesn't work miracles like household dyes. It will give your hair tone and direction. Your hair will look well-groomed and smooth. This tinting paint is worth its price. I was lucky to purchase shade 10v and lavander mixton, it perfectly covers yellow pigment on blondes. The mixton is measured in centimeters.
I used V10. It initially lightened my hair, but left the roots slightly yellow. The dye has a pleasant smell. I had some difficulty mixing the dye with the activator because the latter is quite liquid. As a result, my hair turned ashy in color, but the roots were not fully covered and still had some yellow tones.
I bought shade 10V for the first time - on my very bleached hair it gave a pure violet color, so I had to urgently wash it off with kefir and oil masks.
The second time I tried 8N, hoping to find a natural shade. It looked very beautiful on my light base, something like sandy or chocolate blonde. There is a slight golden hue where my hair regrew.
I like the simplicity of applying the dye, it spreads easily like shampoo, there is no need to color each strand separately. I will continue experimenting with different shades.
For root touch-ups, I use Goldwell Topshik, and for the rest of the length, I use Colorance just to refresh the tone. I really like the result. The shade 8SB is exactly like in the picture. The developer for this dye is indeed very liquid, but don't worry, you just need to mix it very well, longer than usual. According to the instructions, you should do this in a closed bottle, but I mix it in a bowl and it's all good.
The toning hair dye is superb. I am satisfied with the quality of my hair after dyeing. I highly recommend it.
I agree with the girls! The hair dye is very weak, and unfortunately, it's also very expensive! At first, I tried 10v and 10bg, thinking that maybe the lighter shades wouldn't take to my hair! Then I tried level 8 colors, but the result was practically non-existent, not even half a shade! I'm using the original developer, of course, and following all the instructions. I'm really disappointed :(
I liked it even more than L'Oréal Inoa. Firstly, the developer concentration is lower, secondly, the cool shades cover even light red tones well, and thirdly, it doesn't worsen the hair quality. After toning, the hair looks well-groomed, beautiful, and easy to style. This hair dye is designed for toning and neutralizing unwanted tones. The hair should be lightened beforehand. I used 10V to neutralize yellow tones and 10P to neutralize red tones. On lightened hair, any toner will appear one shade darker, so if you want to achieve a level 9, tone with a level 10. Now I want to go back to red, but unfortunately, there are no shades like 9KG and 10G available :-(
Overall, if you're looking for toning, go for Goldwell. Interestingly, even the regrowth is toned, creating a natural, seamless transition. The only downside is that in the sun, hair toned with cool shades appears golden, but not yellow, more like a pleasant gold, while in the shade, it looks completely cool.
I chose it based on reviews and it was my first time tinting my hair at home. The result is fantastic! It is easy to apply, has a pleasant smell, and the shade turned out great - I used 10 BG. So, I highly recommend it!
