Terrible mascara. After it dries, the lashes become stiff like needles, and it is difficult to remove. The application process is awful, the brush clearly doesn't fit here since it has too much at the base and none at the tips.

I am disappointed with this mascara. It smudges heavily on my eyelids and does not apply evenly. After applying it, my makeup looks messy. I even tried using a brush from another mascara that is more convenient for application, but it still doesn't apply well. Also, I don't think this mascara is very waterproof. I won't be buying it again.

I tried mixing it with Max Factor Volume Infusion Mascara - it helped a little to salvage the situation, but not much. I will try applying Volume Infusion first and then this one. So far, I haven't found anything better than Max Factor Clump Defy, but it has been discontinued for a while now and the recent reviews are scary.

In any case, I am disappointed with the trend of Max Factor mascaras. There used to be no negative reviews, but now they are everywhere for this brand and I understand why... If you have normal lashes that don't need any effects but require waterproofness, then this mascara will be suitable.

I will defend this mascara. I have used it for a whole 5 months and I can say that among the waterproof ones, it is the best. Not in terms of longevity, they all last forever, but in terms of quality. Maybelline Lash Sensational and Vivienne Sabo Cabaret didn't impress me, they only looked good for the first three months, and even then, not for long. They were liquid-like water at first, and then became clumpy and stuck to the brush and lashes, making it impossible to work with. Max Factor was also very liquid-like at first and didn't coat the tips very well. But after a month of use, the mascara thickened and became pigmented. The brush is big, but if you learn how to use it, it will give you very neat, fluffy lashes. It doesn't clump them together. I only apply a second coat on the tips and then everything is perfect. This mascara behaved excellently until its last breaths. It's already finished, but I won't throw it away, maybe I'll need it in the summer, I'll just use a little bit. The previous ones were already thrown in the trash unfinished in March. It doesn't weigh down the lashes, and it removes easily with waterproof makeup remover. I'm very happy that I made the right choice this time.

Usually, one coat of mascara is enough for me, but with this one, you can't see anything with just one coat (I think you just need to apply more). With two coats, it gives a stunning effect - long, voluminous, and curled lashes. And yes, they are very black! The only downside, and it's quite significant for me, is that for the first half an hour, it weighs down the lashes a lot, it even hurts at the roots (I haven't experienced this in a hundred years), and I wear contact lenses. But after that, it's fine. It can be removed with a two-phase waterproof makeup remover. I was pleased to see that the mascara is very fresh, like straight out of the oven. Apart from the mentioned downside, I really liked this mascara!

Great waterproof mascara! Usually other waterproof mascaras come off after using special cleansers or soap, but unfortunately not this one. The Nivea makeup remover had zero effect, I was only able to remove it with coconut oil after trying five times. I will be looking for a suitable product to remove it. This mascara provides strong hold. I have very long, but straight eyelashes that grow downwards. Only this mascara is capable of "lifting" them, fixing and holding them until I wash it off. And most importantly - it doesn't dry out. It can be easily removed with any makeup remover (waterproof), so it's better to use dual-phase oily bases.
