The whole family developed a terrible allergy from this soap! It feels like washing with acid instead of soap!
Great soap, pleasant scent. It doesn't dry out the skin.
It's strange to see such positive reviews when the soap actually dries out the skin. My skin is generally not demanding and doesn't dry out even with the cheapest soap, but with this one, my skin becomes dry and uncomfortable, and I have to apply lotion carefully. I didn't want to buy Safeguard or Palmolive, I wanted something better, and I thought Dove would be it. It's really disappointing that it's not the case.

The consistency has become watery, and the scent is no longer pleasant. And the biggest disappointment of all is the effect. The soap now dries out your hands. It's very upsetting. I consider myself part of the group of people who have given positive reviews to this product. The functionality claimed by the manufacturer is true! (My hands have actually started to improve... before this, I purchased the Liv Delano brand, not only the soap but also the cream as a set, and it was a nightmare. Besides the luxurious design, I couldn't find anything positive about those products, and I didn't even want to leave a review here because they were such terrible products!)
But this soap wonderfully moisturizes the hands, and it is very economical since it has a quite thick, white, gel-like texture. It lathers excellently, and if you have oily hands, just half a pump from the dispenser is enough. The scent... it's a matter of personal preference, it's heavily perfumed and may seem a bit harsh, but it only stays on your hands for about 10-15 minutes and then fades away.
Some girls mentioned allergies in the comments... but neither I nor any members of my family have experienced any allergies, so it must be individual.
