The Ultrabond Acid-Free Primer from Kodi Professional enhances the strong bonding of gel with the natural nail surface.
This primer, which is devoid of methacrylic acid in its composition, is safe for the natural nail compared to acid-containing products. It does not burn the surface of the natural nail plate nor damage the cuticle. Virtually odorless, it is perfectly suited for use with both gel and acrylic systems. Ultrabond is practical, economical to use, and facilitates easy sculpting.
This safe, acid-free primer gently degreases the nails before applying gel or acrylic, providing additional adhesion of the coating to the surface of the natural nail without disrupting the PH balance of the nail plates.

Push back the cuticle with a wooden stick or a cuticle pusher. Use a buffing file to remove the natural shine from the nail. Brush off the resulting dust with a stiff-bristle brush. Apply a small amount of acid-free primer, wiping off any excess on the edge of the bottle. Place the brush in the center of the nail and allow the primer to spread evenly across the entire surface. Adjust the coating to ensure it does not come into contact with the skin. If it does, rinse with running water. Aim for a thin coating; otherwise, the scales will not lift properly. Wait for the coating to dry and turn whitish.

I liked the primer. Previously, I had another one from a different brand - this one holds the coating much longer! BUT I got a defective one - the brush splits in half, making the application process almost impossible! It's a pity that I threw away the old primer - maybe it would have worked :( Now I'm waiting for something to run out... As for the downsides, it has a strong smell, like acetone. My previous one didn't smell like that. So if you have allergies, keep that in mind. Overall, I recommend the primer itself.
I bought it on Makeup, and it suited me well. I use it to cover my nails with gel nail polish. This primer without acid does its job well.
I did not purchase it here. I assume that with so many positive reviews, my negative one won't be believed. However, this primer is not worth its price. In terms of consistency, it is like water. Barely sticky, it often fails during gel nail extensions. Considering that there are many reviews here about gel polishes, I don't know. Maybe it works great with gel polish. Naomi is cheaper and of great quality. Unfortunately, I discovered that this one is distributed in Ukraine after my purchase; I fell for the brand's popularity. By the way, Cody files also disappointed me.
This primer is amazing! I apply it on my nail extensions and immediately follow it with gel polish without waiting for it to dry. It holds up excellently, and I can wear my nails for around 18 days before the tips start to show through slightly. I wash my hands about 300 times a day, and it still holds up perfectly. It's perfect for me. I highly recommend it.

Great item) I used it when I was doing gel nail extensions. Then it ran out, and I thought, maybe it's not necessary for gel polishes, they stay on well anyway, but... Suddenly, the gel polish stopped adhering to my nails completely, just one day and it comes off. It wasn't a matter of doing something wrong, I've been doing it for 9 years and I've tried different base and top coats like CND, but the problem disappeared instantly with Ultrabond. I've been wearing it for three weeks now, and if my nails weren't growing, I would continue wearing it because it holds on tightly and comes off easily, just like without it. I think it's not necessary for prevention, but if your nails are asking for it, it will definitely help))
I don't understand its purpose at all. I use it for gel nails because most people do. However, it holds up just as well without it.

Excellent. It provides a thorough base coat. If it weren't for the nail growing at the base, you could go for more than 2 weeks without needing to redo it.
