1. Using Shaving Soap: Start by wetting your face (ideally right after a shower). Quickly run the brush under warm water and lather the soap in a bowl (without pressing down on the bristles) until you get a thick, creamy foam. Apply the foam to your face in circular motions for one to two minutes—this helps to soften and straighten the beard hairs adequately.

2. Using Shaving Cream: Prepare your face and dampen the brush with warm water. Apply a small amount of shaving cream to the brush and lather it on your face for one to two minutes, as described above. Some users prefer to apply a small amount of cream directly to each cheek from the tube, then emulsify it with the brush.

Maintenance

To maintain the quality of your shaving brush for many years, we recommend rinsing it thoroughly after each use to remove all traces of cream or soap and shaking out the water. Then, gently pat it dry with a towel before placing it upside down on a suitable stand.
