1. Using shaving soap: First, wet your face (ideally after a shower), quickly run the brush under warm water, and lather the soap inside a bowl (without pressing the bristles) until you get a thick, creamy foam. Apply the foam to your face in circular motions for a minute or two to soften and straighten the beard hair sufficiently.

2. Using shaving cream: Prepare your face and wet the brush with warm water. Apply a small amount of cream to the brush and lather your face for one to two minutes as described above. Some users prefer to apply a small amount of cream directly to each cheek using the tube and then emulsify it with the brush.
Maintenance

To maintain the quality of the brush for many years, we recommend thoroughly rinsing it after each use to remove all traces of cream or soap and draining the water. Then, gently pat it dry with a towel before placing it bristles down on a suitable stand.
