Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different methods of insertion—you can try various ones to find what works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, it will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating proper placement. If unsure, feel the bottom of the cup—it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you detect dents or irregularities on the surface, the cup has not fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Gently tug on the stem: if you feel resistance, the suction has formed, and the cup is successfully in place!
