The best powder I have ever had!

I did not like the powder; it dries and tightens the skin, giving the sensation of applying starch. It feels like wearing a mask on the face.

For this money, it's simply amazing! I have compared it with numerous luxury options! A very worthy find to have at home (although the lid might not withstand much, to be honest).

I love this powder. Mine is almost finished, so I'm eagerly waiting for it to be back in stock. It mattifies perfectly and is colorless on the skin. However, the packaging is poor, as the lid broke within a week.

Finishing up this powder, I decided to leave a review. I didn't expect to get such a successful product for the price. It doesn't bleach, doesn't gather in wrinkles (like almost all other powders in my collection), and mattifies the face excellently and for a long time.

As for the downsides: for the first two weeks, it was difficult to open the powder, the clasp was very tight. Then it became normal. And the lack of a mirror is also a downside for me, so I won't repurchase this powder and will order a different one that is 30 UAH more expensive.

The product is not bad, but the quality of the packaging leaves much to be desired. The case cracked within a week of use, even though the powder was stored on the table, meaning there was no external mechanical impact. After three weeks, the lid fell off and the attachment broke. Perhaps this is related to the fact that the powder I bought in June 2020 is about to expire (manufacturing date - early 2018). It is unpleasant that now I cannot take the compact product with me on vacation.

Unlike the NYX powder, which made my combination skin shiny after a couple of hours, this Essence powder is my second favorite and gives a superb effect in flash photography. The face powder looks like flour and excessively whitens. It appears very strange on olive-toned skin, additionally emphasizing flakiness and skin imperfections.

The powder is visible on the skin and provides coverage like a mask, so it's important to apply it carefully. It works well for winter, but it's not recommended for summer, especially when the skin is tanned and becomes darker.

I am satisfied with the powder. The effect lasts for several hours (on oily-prone skin). It does not leave any white marks. Since this is my first setting powder and I have nothing to compare it to, I give it a 5.

So far, this translucent powder is perfect for me. It works really well for the baking technique (when you apply a lot of powder to specific areas, leave it for a couple of minutes, and then brush it off lightly). It leaves your skin silky smooth and hides pores.

I have combination skin, and my T-zone usually gets shiny within 2 hours after applying Estee Lauder foundation (which is very mattifying), but this powder is a real lifesaver. I always go for the colorless ones because my skin is very fair.

And what's worse, they ranged from expensive brands to mass market ones. Thankfully, this product, although white, doesn't create a mask-like effect on the face or make it look pale. I am satisfied with this powder. I have fair, dry skin, but throughout the day, shine appears that is caused by my morning moisturizer. This powder solves the problem, as by the end of the day, the shine is barely noticeable. The powder is translucent, but immediately after application, a very fine white veil is visible, which then blends with the skin tone.

A couple of years ago, I bought this powder in the stores of the city and I really liked it. It is perfect for setting the foundation. I have a combination skin type.
