You don't need to apply the conditioner to the scalp, the "volume" label means that the product will not weigh down your length, which adds volume because the hair is thin and light and cannot bear the weight.

The volume is there, but it's not impressive.
I liked the scent (tropical fruits), it moisturizes the hair.
