I have brown hair and the dye took well, just like a typical coloring balm. My hair became smooth and shiny. The color is great. The only downside is the very small volume.

I have natural brown hair and I bought the purple conditioner. The bottle was more than enough for my shoulder-length hair, and if you apply it carefully, it can last for two applications. It didn't distribute evenly, but my hair has different shades in some areas, plus my boyfriend applied it and it was his first time.

What I really liked about it is that after the first wash, it didn't stain my clothes, pillowcases, skin, or towels. It completely washed out in 3 weeks, maybe 4 for bleached light hair. It washed out evenly and there were no purple spots left, it doesn't remind me of toning. It didn't change the softness of my hair, the conditioner doesn't dry it out.
