If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you feel any dents or indentations on the cup, it means it hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem—if you feel resistance, the suction is set, and the cup is successfully inserted!
