This serum is excellent. I bought it based on a recommendation from a cosmetologist. I have combination skin and I am over 40 years old. It provides hydration without leaving an oily shine. After applying the serum, I wait a few minutes and then apply my moisturizer, and everything looks great. There is no shine or breakouts (which I sometimes experience).

This serum is amazing, I must say it for the tenth time. The ingredients are good. Don't expect miracles, as cosmetics can't do that, but it provides extra hydration. I use it on damp skin, after applying moisturizer. You only need a very small amount. It is suitable for microcurrents and LED devices. For intensive care, you can add serums with vitamin C, retinol, niacinamide, etc. It won't conflict with anything. You can also use oil. As for the cons, the pipette is not the best, so it's better to buy a bottle with a dispenser and transfer the serum there to avoid unnecessary contact with air.

There is no mention of any moisturizing effect. It is simply sticky water that foams when applied. The skin becomes drier within a minute compared to when it is not used. It moisturizes worse than a toner. The face is covered with a film, like egg white, immediately starting to feel tight and flaky, dry and burning. There are other Medik8 serums available. And there were other serums with hyaluronic acid. Without additional creams or anything on top, they gave good results and did not dry out the skin. They could have added a drop of propylene glycol or glycerin so that nothing needs to be applied on top. The toner costs 2000 UAH for 30 ml. I hope it at least heals the skin due to panthenol. Using it on its own, as many people write, is impossible. Water before applying cream is not what I needed.

I love Medik8 serums! I use the Tetra serum with vitamin C and the Hydr8 B5 hydrating serum. I apply the hydrating serum before applying makeup, and it goes on easily and comfortably. At first, the serum is slightly sticky, but within seconds it absorbs and almost dries, leaving no sticky finish, only a matte effect and a moisturized face. It's a great serum, and a little goes a long way. It doesn't have an oily effect, like the Tetra serum, for example. It comes in a clear glass bottle with a dropper. I adore this brand for its quality and effective formulas. Thank you!

It absorbs quickly and does not leave a feeling of tightness or film on the face. After applying the serum, I use a moisturizing cream from Medik8. The skin feels velvety to the touch and adequately hydrated.
