Application of 6-in-1 Silk Protein Base without using colored gel polish:

1. Gently buff the nail, remove the dust, and then wipe the nails with Cleaner to remove the sticky layer.
2. Apply primer to the prepared nail plate, then apply a thin layer of Silk Protein Base 6-in-1. Cure under the lamp.
3. Apply a second, slightly thicker base layer on the natural nail or on a form (if you are extending). Cure under the lamp.
4. Remove any dust with a brush, then wipe with Cleaner to remove the sticky layer.
5. Finally, apply a thin layer of 6-in-1 Silk Protein Base, cure again, and remove the sticky layer after curing.

Using Silk Protein Base 6-in-1 with colored gel polish:

1. Gently buff the nail, remove the dust, and then wipe the nails with Cleaner to remove the sticky layer.
2. Apply primer to the prepared nail plate, then apply a thin layer of Silk Protein Base 6-in-1. Cure under the lamp.
3. Apply a second, slightly thicker layer on the natural nail and on the form. Cure under the lamp.
4. Remove any dust, then wipe with Cleaner to remove the sticky layer.
5. Apply the colored gel polish of your choice and cure under the lamp. The darker the color, the longer the curing time.
6. Apply a top coat for gel polish.

Removal of the base:

If a thin layer of base was applied under the gel polish:

1. Remove the top layer with a buffer. Apply gel polish remover to a cotton pad, place it on the nail, and wrap it with foil.
2. After approximately 7-10 minutes, remove the gel polish with a wooden stick and remove any remaining material with a buffer. If you are not doing a new manicure, you can apply oil.

If the base was applied in a thicker layer:

1. Before proceeding to step 1, remove the gel polish using a file or an e-file.
