Byredo Gypsy Water Eau de Parfum

Simply put, these products smell terrible. I bought a 5ml bottle to try them out, but it was a complete waste of money (650 UAH). I thought they would improve with time, but they actually smell even worse.

Although I initially liked the scent when I first smelled it, I would recommend testing it on your hands and wearing it for a day before making a purchase.

I bought a sample of this perfume, knowing full well that it's not for me. However, after reading the reviews, I was shocked to see that many people mentioned its lack of longevity. This is probably the most long-lasting scent I have ever come across. To test it, I apply the perfume to my skin in the evening. Usually, by morning, there are no traces of any perfume left on my skin. But not with Gypsy Water! I don't know how long it can actually stay on the skin, but it lasts for a solid 12 hours, after which I wash it off in the shower.

The fragrance is advertised as unisex, but after wearing it twice, I concluded that it leans more towards the masculine side. This is evident in the first 20 minutes of wearing it and especially in the base notes that linger till morning. In the morning, I smell a clean scent of men's aftershave cream. Therefore, despite the interesting scent in the top and middle notes, and its impressive longevity, I won't be getting this perfume for myself.

The perfumes are simply out of this world. A rare combination of subtle fragrance with longevity. Beautiful packaging.

I absolutely do not recommend ordering with delivery from the EU. My order was placed for a birthday, but such delivery ruined the pleasant anticipation of the gift. I ordered on October 31, 2023, and received it on October 17, 2023. No one can tell when the order will arrive (and the rhetoric of "call the broker and the courier service" is not about service at all).

This perfume is wonderful with an interesting scent. It starts off slightly piney but then becomes gentle, without any harshness. It transitions into a delicate grassy note with hints of vanilla or some sweet caramel. However, in my opinion, it lacks longevity and projection! I would really love to smell like this, but in a more intense way! I applied it three times a day and it still has a quiet presence.

Today I received my package - thank you makeup for the fast delivery! Upon first testing, the fragrance revealed itself to be sweet, although I was expecting more of a pine scent. I will let the bottle rest after its journey and try it out in colder weather. Byredo packaging is truly a work of art! I already enjoyed the excitement of unpacking it.

A wonderful and understated unisex fragrance for business meetings. Sandalwood, pine, amber, and vanilla. I finished the travel size and bought the full-size version. The scent is original and the delivery was fast! Thank you!

One of my favorite fragrances! Yes, its longevity could be better, but it definitely lasts on the skin for more than just a couple of hours, as some claim. There is no doubt about the originality of the perfume.

The only disappointment was receiving a sample of a cheap Lambre fragrance instead of the niche perfume, which, by the way, they have persistently been trying to give me here for the third time! As a loyal customer, I have never been given even luxury samples, let alone niche ones, and I have never complained. But receiving such a "gift" for the third time felt like a slap in the face, guys.

And if you really add samples to orders "randomly," it's time to pay attention to the numerous customer comments and somehow adjust your "random" system a little bit.

Since I have no complaints about the fragrance itself, I give it 5 stars, but the overall impression of the purchase was unpleasant.

It's amazing, suitable for any occasion, fitting for any mood whether you admire and inhale it or wear it on yourself, it doesn't irritate or bother. Just two sprays and it's enough for me, and it leaves a trail. Girls were walking behind me, saying it's super.

My son gave me this fragrance as a birthday gift, and it was a special occasion as it was my anniversary. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. Yes, the scent is interesting and unique, which is a plus. However, there are no other positives! It is not long-lasting at all, it vanishes completely. And please, spare me your rehearsed sentences about personal perception of the fragrance, its unique development, and so on. Not that I expected people at work to smell the trail and show interest, but I actually asked them to actively inhale the air around me, hoping someone would catch at least a hint of it! But no, no one (!) could detect anything. The cherry on top (considering the perfume's price) was the "gift" from Makeup. For a perfume priced at over 6,000 rubles (100 ml), they included a microscopic Bora Plus cream (??!!) and a cheap cosmetic bag with the Makeup logo. What was the point of this? Was there nowhere else to put these items? It felt not just like a mockery, but like a spit in the face! Well, don't include anything at all, there's no need to add such things to a box with an expensive and, as you claim, "niche" fragrance. Don't ruin an already ruined mood!
P.S. Please let me know where I can return this disappointment. Maybe one of the top managers at MK has an irresistible need for these... things?
