I am very attracted to this product, it sets the mood with its fragrance. I even enjoy applying it to my hair before bed and indulging in its scent. Maybe it won't have a strong trail, but if I apply it in the morning, I can still feel it in the evening. I recommend giving it a try.
A suffocating scent of lemon geranium. I can't imagine a girl between the ages of 20 and 40 wearing such a fragrance.

I bought Byredo Bal d'Afrique two weeks ago, inspired by the reviews and after experiencing the scent at a friend's place. The packaging is very presentable: simple, elegant, I would even say monumental and expensive. I purchased it for the cold season, and I can definitely say that I don't share the admiration and "wows". The first downside is the high price. On the positive side, the scent is deep and warm, harmonious, slowly revealing itself, taking you into a romantic and nostalgic journey into the past. The second downside is that the fragrance is not particularly long-lasting, it lasts for about an hour and then fades away, leaving a light trail on clothes after an hour and a half to two hours. My husband's reaction was, "This scent is for mature women, and it feels old, like remnants of our mothers' past." A male colleague's reaction was, "I'm tired of sniffing you, it overwhelms me with memories and images of the past, something good, but long forgotten." Somehow, the scent seemed old to the majority of my acquaintances, people over 43-45 years old, evoking memories, but at the same time, it had a multifaceted warmth. Therefore, let's call this a plus - Byredo Bal d'Afrique is an aggregate of memories. When expectations slightly diverge from reality, and the number of positive reviews regarding the magic of attractiveness and sex appeal excites the mind, imagination kicks in and you start painting mental pictures that make you feel like growing wings and wanting to dance (in the sense of let's dance). The fragrance is simply marvelous! It is soft, delicate, deep, and memorable. There is a perfect balance of sweetness, flowers, and woody notes. Everything is harmonious and very pleasant! It slightly reminds me of the original Noa Cacharel fragrance, not the current ones, but the ones from 2001, the very first ones. There is also something in common with Tom Ford White Suede. I highly recommend these fragrances to anyone who enjoys them! Respect to the store!
