You need to apply it after every hand wash. It does not make the skin smooth or hydrated, even though my hands are not excessively dry. They only get slightly dry during winter and I rarely use creams in the summer, as it is not necessary. On the positive side, it absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy residue. Overall, I am disappointed with this product and I will never purchase it again.
