This is an amazing product. I have been buying it for many years in a row. I use it alone, without lipstick, as a standalone product. It evens out the surface of my lips and visually enlarges them in the first shade.

The primer does what it claims, making it easier to apply the pencil and the lipstick goes on smoothly. However, it does dry out the lips a bit. If you're expecting increased lipstick longevity, then this is not the product for you.
