The "square" pads that come with them are too stiff and can be disregarded immediately. They are useless. As a result, they stopped falling out and the eyelashes were curled perfectly. So, the tweezers themselves are fine, but it is necessary to buy different, soft, and round pads. To ensure that the curl holds well, I highly recommend Eveline Cosmetics 4D Extension Volume & Waterproof Mascara. The curl is maintained even if you curl the lashes first and then apply mascara. It dries quickly, so you need to get used to it, but the result will be excellent! You need to curl the lashes very strongly, excessively, moving carefully from the roots to the tips. Then, apply mascara from the roots to the tips, making small transverse movements with the brush. As a result, the curl will slightly straighten under the mascara and will be exactly as desired. Lastly, if the surface of the pad is "worn out" and there is a kind of cut from the metallic upper part, be sure to replace the pad with a new one, otherwise any tweezers will start breaking and cutting the lashes.
