Cacharel Eden Eau de Parfum

One of the most unusual fragrances that I have had the chance to "try", it is truly unique. The longevity is incredible, it stays on the skin even after showering with treasure, I can still feel it on my clothes for a week, I would even say that it has a killer longevity. From the opening, to the middle, and to the finish, it hardly changes on my skin, it is a blend of water, herbs, delicate water lily, a summer forest by the lake with a touch of magic and charm. This is the scent of a Forest Nymph, it is even difficult for me to describe it in any other way. It is very unusual, mysterious, natural, a forest song, truly.

It is unmistakable, here you have the river jungles, and blooming water lilies, and sunburnt grass, and mimosa, and many other things that can be talked about and have already been said. Definitely a masterpiece in the world of perfumery. It may seem flat at first test, but this is a deceptive impression. This perfume loves air, humidity, and changes in temperature, that's when it starts to play with all its colors. I fell in love with this fragrance when I was 16, and after so many years I am still delighted with it, so those who write "retro," "age-specific" - it's all very individual, test it, try it, and don't listen to anyone. Interestingly, the fragrance is indeed quite loud and dense, but on myself, I feel it very moderately, that's how it belongs to me. P.S. Excellent longevity.

A fragrance for enthusiasts.

Initially, I didn't like it when a man gave it to me as a gift and described how his ex-lover used to wear it, and how he himself fell in love with this scent (they are both from the Baltic region). So, I can describe it as a fragrance suitable for constant rain and humid weather, often in the summer. It unfolds in the cold rainy autumn, smelling like a forest and moss. However, in spring and summer, it becomes overly sweet and a bit heavy for the average climate zone.

I used to spray it often at the beginning of warm autumn, and my colleagues would ask, "What's that smell of mold?" Then, I really sniffed it and noticed certain notes, as if it were damp leaves. But it smells interesting on clothes. Overall, I rarely use it, only when I'm in the mood for rainy weather.

I have wanted it for a very long time, but I was afraid to blindly buy it. The scent is indescribable, it has a lingering and captivating effect. It smells of incense, orchids (?), and herbs, with a hint of pine in the background. I sprayed it in the evening - it revealed its pine scent, then I sprayed it again the next day - it bloomed with floral notes. Overall, it is my best purchase ever) super!

The fragrance is simply amazing! It's perfect for those who like to stand out from the crowd. It's better not to miss out on trying it. However, if you enjoy scents like Mandragora Annie Goutal or Mugler Aura, then this one will definitely appeal to you. For me, it's like walking through a forest and stumbling upon a little lake surrounded by lush shrubs and reeds, with plenty of wildflowers that herbalists gather in bunches and then brew into fragrant infusions.

I really like "Eden" from the very first sharp notes. It has a beautiful scent of dense greenery and flowers, and within this greenery, there hides a river. This fragrance is definitely not versatile, and it never has been, even in the 90s. I didn't wear it back then because I was very young and preferred citrus scents in perfumes. Two years ago, I bought Eden for my collection and, strangely enough, I enjoy wearing it.
For those who are picky, I want to give a small piece of advice - apply the fragrance with just one spray and preferably below the waist. This subtle application reveals the beauty of Eden.

I do not share the disappointment and complaints. This perfume is conceptual, with the scent of lily and lotus that immediately captivate and linger in the mind. Naturally, the fragrance is not for everyone, as the melon note is only a dry peel that has been exposed to the sun for a long time, and the sweetness is more of a sweet decay. I did not notice the mimosa, but the scent is so intoxicating and powdery that it is quite possible that it is present. Patchouli, like a foundation, provides longevity. The longevity is about 6-7 hours from just one spray, which is very strong and economical. This is a STRANGE fragrance, only for connoisseurs of magical potions. It is like a green forest with a wild pond, with lilies and lotus flowers under the scorching sun. Both dark and light. This fragrance is better kept under a lid, like an exhibit, rather than worn every day. But it is art.

I'll say it briefly - this is awful. Disgusting smell, not even comparable to a shoe freshener. Where is the lily, where is the melon?! There are no understandable and pleasant notes, only sharp, piercing stench. As correctly mentioned in the comments below: the main emotion is bewilderment. Hoping that it will improve is useless - perfumes don't change that drastically. I certainly won't use it, it makes me sick. It's going straight to the trash bin along with almost 700 UAH. My advice, or rather, a sincere request - don't buy it without testing. And if you do test it, you definitely won't buy it. No complaints towards the store.

1) The first spray is a laundry detergent in capsules, very harsh.
2) I thought I burned the lining of my nose...

I agree with Natalia - this fragrance is a legend. It belonged to my mother a long time ago and now my wife has it. But it's not for everyone, you could say it evokes strong emotions, from love to hatred. I have never encountered anything similar in terms of scent, it is truly unique. It has a classic but timeless contrasting aroma. It is perfect for spring and rainy summers. Its longevity is a solid 5 out of 5.

I really loved this fragrance in 2000. It reminded me of my youth, joy, the scent of linden trees and birch buds after the rain. I decided to remind myself of that and bought it, but I was disappointed. It's not the same. It seems like the original, but the scent is heavy. They overdid it with anise - in the 2000 version, it wasn't noticeable, but here it's like medicinal anise. I can clearly smell powder and some kind of chypre note. After 2 hours, the scent became closer, but something still changed. Maybe we won't become friends... It's a pity.

I bought this product randomly, without testing it, simply because I wanted to have this legend for myself. Based on the pyramid and the reviews, I understood that I would like it, so I'm not afraid of complex scents. As soon as I received it from the carrier, I sprayed half a spritz on my hand and after a while, I realized that I knew it, I had heard it a long time ago. Eden is complex, intoxicating, not for every nose and weather, but it is beautiful. These half spritzes are dense and lingering, they stayed with me all day. Undoubtedly original! And thanks to the store for the little gift!

It even makes my hair smell amazing even after washing. It drives me crazy with its trail, enveloping and enchanting me. I'm in love, captivated, and I believe it will stay with me for life. The most important thing is that they don't stop producing it.

I used to always look at the bottle and think, "Ew, how ugly," and just walked past it. But recently, I decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness, this is not a perfume, it's a magical potion brewed by a forest nymph and placed in a green vial for remedies. This scent, in my opinion, has no analogues. I received three fragrances from the Cacharel brand as a birthday gift from my family: LouLou, Anais Anais, and Eden. I really liked all three scents. But Eden is just amazing! Especially now, in the heat, I can't part with it. It's bright, long-lasting, with a captivating trail, and it has a sexy and magical aura!
