Slowly separate the two parts until you have two strips. Apply the strip in the direction of hair growth, smoothing and pressing it down with your hand to ensure it adheres well to the skin. Hold the skin taut with one hand and quickly pull the strip off in the opposite direction of hair growth (for example, from the ankle to the knee). The strip should be removed in one swift motion, keeping it as parallel and close to the skin as possible to avoid bruising. You can reuse the strip multiple times until it loses its effectiveness.
