Lattafa Perfumes Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud Eau de Parfum

I ordered this perfume out of curiosity. I believed that a product from such a cheap segment could not be of good quality, and I am very glad that I was wrong. The perfumes arrived sealed, the box was intact, the bottle was made of solid glass, and the lid was heavy and made of metal. I immediately tested the perfumes and... vanilla, vanilla... oh my God! The scent was initially very strong, but it gradually settled on the skin and became gentle, while still reminding me of its presence. In my opinion, I also noticed some oriental spices in the fragrance, which is perfect for this season. I am extremely satisfied. The scent is described as unisex, but to me, it leans more towards the feminine side. It is sweet, but not overwhelming, with an eastern touch and a hint of light wood. It lasts the whole day on my cool skin, and on clothes until laundry day. The delivery was fast, and the courier was friendly and polite. Personally, I am very happy with this purchase and the discovery of a new brand. It is classified as mass-market, but I would confidently label it as luxury.

I didn't buy it here because it wasn't available, but I still want to leave a review. The fragrance is a clone of "By the fireplace" by MM, almost 100%, but slightly less long-lasting. It's a very good clone, I own both perfumes, and why pay more when Lattafa has made an excellent clone? I recommend it.

Perhaps these are just my initial impressions, but in my opinion, the first thing that comes to mind is Montale - Black Oud or rather Fantastic Oud. I don't know why, but it reminds me of Ameer Al Oud Intense Oud. Over time, the scent may evolve and I will update my review accordingly.

Unfortunately, the bottle arrived with smudged writing on it. However, the bottle itself is beautiful, heavy, and quite minimalistic compared to other products from this brand. They didn't put any rhinestones on it, and I'm thankful for that.

The perfume itself is a successful copy of Maison Martin Margiela's "By the Fireplace." And this similarity only increases over time. So, it's better to apply it in advance because it can be intimidating at first. After an hour, it fully blooms, the chemical scent disappears, and you're left with smoke, sugar, smoldering wood, and a hint of oud in the background. All of this creates such a cozy atmosphere that you feel like you're wrapped in a warm blanket by the fireplace.

It's a worthy substitute for an expensive perfume (the price of "By the Fireplace" is much higher). It's suitable for late autumn and winter, in my opinion. The sillage is not overpowering, it stays close to the skin.

The longevity is off the charts! It becomes overwhelming by the evening.

It's not a masterpiece, but it's captivating and has character.

I purchased this product from another website at twice the price, but it was not available here. The scent is a clone of By the fireplace by MM, almost 100% identical, but less long-lasting. It is a beautiful, subtle, and cozy perfume. I highly recommend it!
