Roja Parfums Dove Elysium Pour Homme Cologne enchants with a wealth of aromatic nuances. The fragrance's opulence brings forth an Oriental essence, highlighted by notes of wood, fruit, and flowers. Initially, in the scented mist of this men's cologne, one can perceive the bittersweet spritz of citrus, enveloped by the rich spice of thyme. Galbanum introduces a sharpness, while the fragrant threads of artemisia inspire a lasting affection for the perfume.
The heart of the scent is a magical blend of coniferous and herbaceous notes, combined with the freshness of flowers and berries. Soft pink pepper deepens and enriches this sophisticated composition. The cologne's captivating base enchants with balsamic and leather notes, set against a backdrop of delightful vanilla-benzoin sweetness.
I have been trying to remember which fragrance from the early 2000s it resembles. I found it and tested them together on my skin. There is a lot in common with Jil Sander for Men by Jacques Cavallier in Fabien Baron's bottle (gray) - both fragrances are works of art! The scent itself is quite good. Elysium is slightly more modern, using grapefruit and lime instead of mint and ivy like Sander - it could be mind-blowing, but it's just great. Why? In this fragrance, there is a maximum feeling that you are getting a cool dominant note of natural grapefruit, and just when you think it's a boring office scent, a mischievous spiciness appears and it becomes much more interesting. It's funny because the bottle is so cool to hold and look at, and it surpasses the perfume scent, I think. It could have been the number one niche fragrance™ inside such a bottle, but it's just an excellent office men's fragrance... inside an incredible bottle.
Despite the abundance of notes, personally, it always smells the same to me - pleasant citruses, but nothing extraordinary. Additionally, the eau de cologne version is weaker in terms of longevity, so it is not worth spending that much money on it.
