This is my third fragrance from Serge Lutens. Before this, I bought Louve and Five O'clock. I bought all three without testing them and they have become my favorites. But SANTAL MAJUSCULE is the most challenging. Definitely, you need the right mood for it. There are days when it irritates me, and there are days when I can't get enough of it. Just one spray on the body and you are enveloped in a mysterious sandalwood haze, and if you spray it on fur, it's absolutely luxurious. It loves fur. I love Lutens.
