As a shower gel - yes, as a shampoo - no. I have long, thick, and porous hair. I wash it twice, but my hair remains dirty, and the curls become sticky and clump together at the roots. There is no volumizing effect. I have tried all the shampoos from this brand, and many of them worked well, but I no longer buy 2 in 1 products. However, it worked well and my husband really liked it. It's all individual. The scent is very light and pleasant. And it lathers excellently.
