I will share my method of application because it really works: I first wash my hair with a regular shampoo, then I gently towel dry it and only then apply the purple shampoo. Make sure to distribute it evenly throughout the hair, don't be stingy with the amount of product, because if you apply just a pea-sized amount, you will get the same result. For the upper part of my hair, which is below shoulder length, I apply one press of the shampoo and evenly distribute it so that the purple foam covers all the hair. Then, I do another press and distribute it on the length of my hair.

Let me explain why I do it this way: when the foam reaches the length of the hair, it turns white and the neutralization with the purple pigment doesn't happen. So, as a result, the top part would be whiter than the rest.
