It quickly softens the cuticle, truly in about 5 seconds, and it can be removed. I can't say that it completely removes everything unnecessary, sometimes you need to adjust it a little with scissors, but it significantly speeds up and facilitates cuticle work.

This is an excellent cuticle remover. It starts working within 3-5 seconds after application. I apply it on 3-4 fingers and proceed with my manicure. It doesn't cause any burning sensation and has no strong odor. The amount I purchased lasted me for about a year.
