Overpriced and nothing special. The mascara, as usual, colors the eyelashes without clumping or sticking. If you have "average" quality lashes, it will accentuate them nicely. However, removing this mascara takes about three days to completely wash off or half a pack of cotton pads and half a bottle of makeup remover, which then results in bags under my eyes. So, what's the point? I had a green Loreal mascara before this one, and it was amazing. It applied beautifully, leaving my lashes looking great. It doesn't smudge, flake, or smudge like Lancome, and even after removing it, my eyes still look good. And the best part is, it's three times cheaper than Lancome. This will be my last Lancome purchase.

My love for makeup and mascara began about 10 years ago with Lancome, and this brand is still my favorite. It's difficult to choose a favorite, but this one is definitely worth trying.

Let's start with the visual effect. It separates and definitely lengthens the lashes. I can actually create the effect of spider legs if I layer it on. However, I love this effect, so it's not a downside for me. With just one or two coats, it creates a natural and doll-like look. My personal hack is that if I can't blend my eyeshadows properly, I apply 3-4 coats of this mascara and you won't be able to see your eyeshadows at all.

Now, let's talk about its waterproofness. I wouldn't say that this mascara is waterproof - it's fireproof, earthquake-proof, and can probably survive more disasters than you. If you tend to cry on the subway/at work/over tasks - I recommend getting it. Even if you fall asleep with it after a beach meltdown in the wind - you'll wake up with a melted face, but your lashes will still be intact.

From this, the only downside for me is that I have no idea how to completely remove it. My current formula is to rub it with hydrophilic oil for about 40 seconds, including using a cotton swab for precision, then using an oil-based micellar water pad on top, and finally using a foam cleanser. At some point, I decided to only use the waterproof version when there's a risk of smudging my makeup. Consequently, the speed of using the mascara changed. And then it became clear that the packaging dries out quite quickly, despite sufficient air insulation in the bottle. So if you don't plan on using it daily, I recommend getting a miniature version.

Good day! I am thrilled with the Lancome Lash Idole Waterproof Mascara. It is my favorite mascara that I constantly purchase. It is highly long-lasting and does not smudge, so you can swim in the pool without any worries. It also does not clump my lashes. It is easy to apply and does not require multiple coats. It can only be removed with a two-phase makeup remover, which suits me well. I do not recommend using micellar water or regular water to remove this mascara.

The best mascara in my life. I had the same one, but not waterproof, so I ordered the waterproof version. Both are amazing, but the waterproof one doesn't wash off with just water like the regular one. It feels weightless on the lashes. The lashes become very long and separated! Loreal and Maybelline don't even come close, I have used both for many years, but after using this mascara, I don't want any others. I bought it on a Polish makeup website.

Awful mascara, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This is my first luxury mascara and it's a complete disappointment. Budget mascaras from Maybelline are much better. This mascara doesn't separate the lashes, instead, it gives the effect of "spider legs" when applied. It's simply a waste of money.

I see that comments are being discussed here. I do not want this. But I will talk about the mascara. I only use Lancome, so I can say that the waterproof Idol mascara is disappointing. I will go back to the Idol with oil. The mascara truly presents itself more negatively. It brings certain complications. And then, the fact that it has a good consistency and applies evenly with a silicone brush no longer plays a significant role.

I recently purchased this waterproof mascara as my previous one was running out, and I wanted to try this version. I must say, it wears perfectly without smudging or flaking throughout the day. It also removes easily with the cheapest hydrophilic oil. Additionally, I was lucky enough to find it on sale for 873 UAH, for which I am grateful to Makeup as always.

I will probably leave a negative review. I didn't really like the mascara. Let's start with the positives. It lengthens, separates, and is waterproof.

Now for the negatives. It is extremely waterproof, and can only be removed with a two-phase makeup remover (had to buy it separately). It sticks to the lashes and is difficult to remove even with the two-phase remover. Honestly, this was a downside for me.

I don't know about others, but I have droopy eyelids and it smudges after two to three hours.

When applying it to the lash line, it smudges and can only be removed with a makeup remover. And by then, the eyeshadow is already ruined. Basically, you have to be very careful.

It does not flake much, but it does shed a little.

You can layer it, but then it will definitely flake off. Although I can't say that it constantly and intensively flakes off.

Personally, I would not buy it again... but that's just my impression. I will continue searching for my own mascara.
