After insertion, the cup will unfold with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been placed correctly. If unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice dents or indentations, the cup hasn't fully expanded. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, lightly pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
