Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—you can try them and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup should open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice any dents or folds, the cup has not fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once the seal is formed, try tugging slightly on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully in place!
