After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup – it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice any dents or indentations, the cup has not fully opened. Gently grip the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully positioned!
