Upon proper insertion, the cup will unfold with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you notice any dents or indentations, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, try slightly pulling on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
