If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when inserted. If you notice any dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (avoiding the stem) and try to twist it to create a suction seal. Once in place, lightly tug on the stem - if you feel resistance, the suction is set, and the cup is successfully inserted!
