After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been correctly placed. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when inserted correctly. If you notice any dents or folds, the cup has not fully expanded. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction seal is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
