Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap first. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods – you can try several and choose the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been properly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup – it should be round or oval once inserted correctly. If you notice dents or folds, it means the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is secure, and the cup is successfully installed!
